About the Role

Front Of House Supervisor

37.5 hours per week , 5 days over 7

Salary range 19,000-20,000 per annum

St Wilfrids hospice is a local charity providing skilled and compassionate care and treatment for all patients with complex needs as they near the end of life.

We have created the new post of Front of House Supervisor to assist the Front of House Manager to develop and maintain a reception, food and housekeeping service that is courteous, efficient, consistent and professional whilst being a welcoming and uplifting experience for patients and visitors.

The role involves day to day supervision of our patient meal service, via our team of volunteers and our housekeeping team, providing support and training. The post holder will ensure we meet hygiene and infection control standards, and high levels of customer satisfaction within our busy caf.

Through previous experience of working in a complex customer focused environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to supervise and lead both paid and volunteer teams. In addition they must be able to prioritise, respond to a changing environment and have a good standard of literacy and numeracy.

Good working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures would be advantageous with the ability to engage in safe and secure working practices at all times.

We are offering 27 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, pension arrangement, and all set in our attractive hospice setting.
