About the Role

The SABDEN Multi Academy Trust Resource Coordinator –Single Status Grade 7 28 hours per week (working pattern negotiable) Main base College Central (Pupil Referral Unit), Eastbourne (occasional travel to other academy sites will be required) (Term Time only with expectation to work 4 days during holiday period) As 'The Sabden Multi Academy Trust' (TSMAT) we continue to work together to improve the life chances of all our children and young people. Following a review of the business and finance functionalities across the Trust we now are seeking to recruit to a this exciting post of 'Resource Coordinator' based at College Central School.   As Resource Coordinator you will perform a range of financial administrative duties and be responsible for day to day resource coordination at the School as well as setting up the recruitment of new staff,  booking training courses, recording and tracking staff absence and submitting monthly staff expenses. Working as part of a streamlined team across the Trust, the role of Resource Co-ordinator will receive strong support not only through a network of Trust colleagues but also through guidance and direction of an experienced Business Manager and Directors of the Trust.   Depending on experience, the successful post holder will have the opportunity to receive a comprehensive induction and training programme.

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009. 

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations. 

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
