About the Role

Year 6 Teacher + TLR Langney Primary School is looking ahead to a new and exciting chapter, as a lead school for the new Eastbourne Primary Hub as part of Swale Academies Trust. We are looking for a Year 6 teacher, senior leader and outstanding practitioner to join Langney with a focus on leading Teaching and Learning. You will need to have a proven track record of outstanding primary practice and achievement of exceptional end of key stage outcomes. A secure understanding of assessment for learning, assessment without levels, effective teaching pedagogy and National Curriculum expectations are a must. You will also have experience teaching in Year 6. This is a permanent position, starting January 2018 (or ideally Term 2 2017 if able!). The school is able to offer you a warm, friendly and innovative colleagues to work with. The school takes pride in being at the forefront of initiatives and is a lead school working formally with three other local schools. If you are interested in leadership, there will be plentiful opportunity for development and collaborative working across our family of schools. Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
