Salary up to £30,000pa + £6000 annual performance bonus potential

Due to continued company success and expansion, a key client of ours is looking to recruit a new Sales Manager to join their Brighton office. This individual will work alongside the Operations Manager as part of a small but growing team and play a pivotal role in continuing to drive the branch forward.

This person will be the direct contact for this trade branch and have a focus on excellent customer service and relationship building. They will be responsible for liaising with customers via face-to-face, telephone, and email in a busy office environment. They will deal with new enquiries, manage quotations and estimates, and put forward final proposals to customers before account managing agreed orders. They will also be responsible for encouraging new business with both new and warm contacts and use their initiative on how to approach potential customers. This individual will likely recruit and develop their own team over time as well. This role will have a direct impact on the success of the branch and positive results will be rewarded accordingly.

This role would suit an ambitious, hardworking individual who will see the potential in joining a business during this stage of their growth and development.

The candidate doesn't need to have any previous experience within this specific industry as good product training will be provided to give them the confidence to approach prospect and existing customers.

Candidates need have:

• Superb customer service skills and evidence of this from existing / previous employment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skill.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work to targets.
• The ability to lead from the front but be a team player at the same time.
• A very good phone manner.
• Own transport.
