Salary £20,000-24,000pa (negotiable)

A growing entrepreneurial business based in Hartfield is currently seeking a motivated Finance Assistant to join their sociable and hardworking team. This organisation is building upon several years of healthy growth and expanding its operations, which means an addition needs to be made to their finance team. This person will work closely alongside an experienced Financial Controller and receive excellent opportunities for role development and progression.

Overview of duties:

• Raising sales invoices
• Credit control
• Inputting purchase ledger invoices
• Reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers
• Cash allocation
• Bank reconciliations
• Managing supplier and customer queries
• Assisting with VAT returns and monthly management reporting
• Other Ad Hoc assistance as and when required

A positive approach, good attention to detail, strong Excel and excellent communication skills are required. Sage 50 experience would be advantageous.
