KS2 Teacher FROM 01/01/2018--22/04/2019
Stone Cross School is a popular, oversubscribed two-form entry school on the outskirts of Eastbourne. We are looking for an experienced excellent classroom teacher to join the happy, enthusiastic and skilled team, in our drive to maintain and build upon our existing practice. We will consider the post as a job share.
In view of the fixed term nature of this post, a bespoke programme of CPD training for aspiring leaders will be offered to the successful candidate.
The governing body are looking for: -A proven good or outstanding teacher with knowledge and experience of working with a range of educational special needs -A teacher with strong skills in differentiation of literacy and maths -A highly motivated, exciting and engaging teacher who is committed to raising standards and building on the success of our ‘GOOD’ Ofsted -A teacher with strong behaviour management -A teacher with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to raise standards

This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009.
The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2009 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2009 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2009 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
