We are working with an established Sussex based chartered accountancy firm based in Lewes with the recruitment of a Private Client Manager. You may be an experienced Tax Senior looking to make a step up to Manager level or an established Tax Manager looking for a new challenge towards a more private client offering.

The role will be varied to include:

• Deal with the tax affairs of estates, trusts and individuals to include the tax returns and accounts and the inheritance tax by way of forms IHT400 and IHT100
• Provide clients with general advice regarding Inheritance Tax, undertaking basic IHT planning

About You

• Possibly a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or Tax Technician (ATT)
• Looking to develop your tax knowledge into a wider private client offering
• Open to acquiring further qualifications such as a qualified willwriter from the Institute of Professional Willwriters
• Be adept at business development with the energy to drive this service line forward
• From a legal background? Our client would be open to candidates looking to make a move from the legal profession to accountancy
