About the Role

Churchwood Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant (Bank staff) who is confident, calm and enjoys the company of children.  This role will be on a claims only contract, therefore the post holder will be required to work only in the event of staff absence. The duties will be to supervise children during their lunchtime break and help develop play opportunities.

We are looking for a great communicator and team player who will actively engage in play with the children and enjoys being outdoors no matter what the weather!

Visits to the academy are welcomed by arrangement. Please contact Miss Earwaker.

Applicants  will be required to complete all necessary written work involved in this position. Employment will be subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS clearances including the Disqualification under the Childcare Act. We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.          

Additional Information

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System. From 6 April 2011 the Home Office has placed a permanent restriction on the number of migrant workers that all Tier 2 (General) Sponsors can recruit. Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
