Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week Working pattern: Part-time and Term-time only. (As the position is part-time and term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic TA, to work with a range of students to provide one-to-one and group interventions as well as to provide in-class support for students across a range of curricular subjects. This role will cover year groups 7- 11 and will involve working across the full range of curricular subjects.

The following skills and experience are considered desirable for this role:

  • Working within the primary or secondary school environment
  • Knowledge or experience of working with young people with SEND
  • Prior experience of delivering literacy interventions or an understanding of Dyslexia
  • A GCSE ‘C’ grade or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

There are two posts available. One is on a permanent contract and the other is fixed term until January 2018.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
