About the Role

Thank you for your interest in the post of Cover Supervisor at Ratton School, one of the most popular schools in East Sussex with a very strong reputation for building student confidence and providing rich opportunities for students and staff to succeed.

We are seeking to appoint two committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, setting work previously prepared by the teacher under the supervisory arrangements established by the school, and oversee completion of that work in an environment conducive to learning.

The successful candidates will need to work closely with teaching staff and departments to provide consistent and effective support in line with the requirements of these exciting and responsible roles which may also suit recently qualified graduates or someone looking for a route into teaching. In addition, an interest in working with the PE department would be an advantage.

These are fixed term positions for 27.5 hours per week, term-time only, until August 2018 in the first instance.  They will be paid on Local Pay Structure, Single Status Grade 4/5 points 8-13, starting on £16,123 gross per annum (pro-rata).
