Practice Manager within Adult Social Care across Hastings and Rother
An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Manager to join a friendly, highly motivated and supportive Adult Social Care service in Hastings and Rother. You will be joining the service at a time of forward thinking and pioneering change where Social Care and Health work towards integration to deliver a high quality and seamless service to the community.
The ideal candidate for this post will be self-motivated, innovative, inspirational, well organised, ready for a challenge, and able to deal with competing priorities in a dynamic environment. The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act will drive your management and practice, which will be rooted in social work values; a proven track record in undertaking Safeguarding Enquiries will be essential.
You will be responsible for management of staff and associated resources; managing service performance, and ensuring quality standards are monitored and maintained and achieving continuous service improvement.
In partnership with the Integrated Locality Manager, you will work collaboratively to help develop sustainable partnerships with a range of partners and providers who contribute to the health and wellbeing of a locality population including GPs, primary care, mental health and voluntary and third sector to achieve the best outcomes for adults, carers and their families.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Please note that we require evidence of an overseas police check if you have lived or worked abroad.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
