A market leading, multinational company are looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join their established finance team. Based in Gatwick, you'll be joining a premium listed company on the London stock exchange.

Ideally suited to a first mover from practice or newly qualified individual who trained in an industry position, this role offers excellent head office experience with exposure to Senior Management alongside various finance functions.

About the role:

• Take responsibility for all technical accounting and external reporting aspects of the Group finance function
• Work closely with Senior Management, including the Group Chief Accountant
• Management of end of year accounts and maintaining reporting standards under IFRS
• Assisting in the preparation of subsidiaries' statutory accounts
• Help to manage the Group's audit process, ensuring processes are conducted efficiently
• Assist with M&A projects, including due-diligence and integration of acquisitions
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos and discussion papers for subsidiaries
• Identifying and applying improvements to current processes

About you:

• Fully qualified (ACA or equivalent) with up to date technical accounting (IFRS) knowledge
• Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential and you'll complete work to a high degree of accuracy
• Experience of multi-currency consolidations
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties including clearly conveying financial information to non-finance colleagues
• With excellent time management and organisation, you'll be comfortable working to deadlines and managing your workload
