Harvey John is working exclusively with a highly reputable and well-known Brighton based organisation on recruitment of a FP&A Manager. This is a newly created role to add to their expanding finance team, reporting directly into the Head of Finance and managing 2 staff.

It would suit a qualified Accountant (finalist level will be considered) who is looking to really make their mark within a dynamic team environment and who will be excited by the prospect of establishing new analysis and reporting practices.

Overview of role:

• Production of monthly management accounts scorecard
• Producing financial models & reports across different areas of the business
• Identification and development of new financial reports to aid in business decisions
• Line management of two Assistant Accountant roles
• Lead the annual budgeting process and be primary point of contact for budget holders
• Performing monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
• Processing month end journals and recharges
• Assisting with year-end audit
• End to end ownership of the subsidiary finance function
• Submission of quarterly VAT returns
• National Statistics returns
• Support Head of Finance with key projects including cost saving initiatives, supplier rationalisation
• Develop IT tools and drive systems improvements

Required:

• ACCA/CIMA recently qualified or equivalent (finalists considered)
• Excellent IT literacy including advanced Excel skills
• Relevant finance experience in a similar position
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to manage others
