Having recruited a new permanent Head of Finance for a business on the outskirts of Lewes, we now sourcing an interim to cover the notice period of the successful candidate as well as working with the Finance Director on a number of time critical projects.

As a guide this interim role will take you to the end of the year and possibly into early 2020. The new permanent job holder will be joining no later than February next year.

The purpose of the role is to give the new incumbent a 'flying start' when they join the business. You'll assist with:

• Review and implement changes to process and policies affecting the finance department and finance team
• Work with the FD to ensure that Unit4 Business World (Agresso) is updated and compliant with Making Tax Digital (MTD) and the HMRC regulations set for 2020
• Ensure debtors are updated and managed accordingly

Although a finance team is in place there are no management or transactional duties within this role. Purely project based to ensure a smooth handover.
