I am working closely with my client, a reputable organisation based near Redhill, to recruit a full-time and permanent Payroller.

Working for 37.5 hours per week, and reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a stand-alone role, which entails:

• Maintaining and processing Payroll for all in-house employees
• Processing Payroll transactions, including salaries and tax deductions
• Checking of timesheet summaries
• Processing of SPP, SSP & SMP calculations
• Preparing payments to HMRC
• Overseeing the Auto-Enrolment process
• Running Payroll Journals
• Preparation of monthly reports

The ideal candidate WILL:

• Have worked in a "stand-alone" Payroll Manager capacity previously (ideally for a minimum of 5 years)
• Be comfortable with processing high volume payroll
• Be confident with manual calculations and not just reliant on software
• Have worked within an "in-house" Payroll department previously and not just a bureau
• Be available in under a month's notice (they will wait a month for the perfect person)
