Careers and Employability

We are looking for an experienced, pro-active individual to manage the Careers and Employability Service, to enhance the opportunities, employability and career prospects of our students and recent graduates seeking employment. The role requires an individual who has the commitment, ideas and enthusiasm to provide the skills necessary to develop a customer focused service but is also happy to undertake a “hands-on” role working as an integral part of the team. This will include the provision of careers advice and guidance to students and staff, including analysing data from the ongoing Graduate Outcomes survey to help inform future interventions and developments.

It is essential this post holder has a professional qualification in careers guidance recognised by the Careers Development Institute or equivalent, previous management experience, excellent interpersonal skills, can communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels and has the personal qualities to develop a team.
