An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to undertake the role of Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy, with the University of Chichester. The post offered is a full-time role fixed term for up to one year with the University of Chichester based on the Chichester campus.
As a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Sport your role will be to contribute to three key activities: teaching, research and practice education organisation / monitoring. You will contribute to the delivery of Physiotherapy education enhancing the student experience on both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes, particularly in the field of Neurological Physiotherapy. You will provide students with a high-quality, research informed educational experience leading to an understanding of healthcare practice, and the achievement of academic and professional qualifications.
You will work with University colleagues to design, develop and deliver teaching/practical sessions informed by your professional expertise; as well as developing and preparing appropriate clinical placements including educational audit and clinical liaison. In addition, you work with students to support and enhance their employability. There will also be the opportunity to contribute to research activity within the Institute of Sport.
You will have been a practising Physiotherapist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and you will be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
