In the near future I will be working closely with my client, a construction company based next to Gatwick Airport, to recruit for a permanent and full-time Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role entails:

• Managing the AP process
• Taxation work
• Cashflow Forecasting
• Bank & Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Delivering month-end reporting. actual v cost
• Budegting and Forecasting

The ideal candidate for this role WILL:

• If not fully ACCA or ACA qualified, be coming towards the end of a qualification
• Have AT LEAST 2-3 years' experience within a financial accounting environment
• Have worked within an accountancy practice previously (desirable, though not essential)
• Have used ERP systems previously- for example SAP (or similar)
• Have experience of US GAAP & UK GAAP reporting
• Have advanced Excel skills
